This place is always the go to on our yearly road trip through Denmark!The animals on farm are a bonus, if you are lucky you will see the adorable lambs and geese.Easily our favourite place to visit in Denmark!

A great little gem, friendly staff and nice cider. They offer preservative free and vegan alcohol! Amazing views, can sit for ages looking at the views and enjoying drinks. There are friendly farm animals there too which you can pet if you are lucky!

We never expected to be in lockdown in Denmark, but we were rewarded with an idyllic stay at Monkey Rock Winery. Due to the travel restrictions enforced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, me and my partner were caught in Western Australia without a home to go to for 7 weeks. The hosts at Monkey Rock Winery took us for a month and it turned to be the best decision. Our stay was as perfect as it could be given the circumstances. The chalet we occupied within the farm was very private, with plenty of space (it had two rooms), super comfortable (we welcomed the fire in the coldest days) and pretty with tons of natural light and views to the winery and the gorgeous farm all around the house. The hosts were always helpful (thanks for those extra DVDs!), easy to communicate with, friendly and kind (offering us to taste their wine just out of the press was a lovely gesture we recalled appreciated). We were lucky to call it home, during the most difficult weeks of the pandemic.

Beautiful spot a bit off the main road but worth a visit. Really nice owner and you can taste all the ciders they sell. We bought a 4 pack and you don't have to buy 4 of the same cider, you can mix them as you wish.

What a find! A beautiful winery and chalet holiday accommodation. Highly recommend

We bought some monkey rock cider in Albany so we visited the Cidery on our road trip to Denmark, the owner was lovely, we did a tasting of many ciders, she spent some time talking with us explaining each varieties.They also have accommodation which looks lovely, we would love to come back and sleep few nights there.

Love their cider, lovely winery in a nice natural location. Tasting service was great.

Best ciders I've ever tried. Definitely worth the stop off if you like a good cider. Great service aswell.
